Cre'ation du monde, Opus 81 (The Creation of the World)
is a moody and descriptive chamber ballet written by
French composer Darius Milhaud, after hearing jazz in
Harlem. It features prominent writing for the saxophone.
This
production is the second in a series of community outreach
projects. This project is made possible through a collaborative
effort between the Cameo/Carrabba Dance Theatre and
Simple Gifts: The John J. and Georgiana Theodore Foundation.
